Familienportrait – Regular Folks / Photographs from Assasin Fanzine / 1982-84
In november 1982 I published the first issue of my fanzine Assasin. Until 1984 we printed seven magazines and released four audio tapes. Assasin featured Punk, Industrial and Avantgarde-Music, underground art and literature specialising on topics which was neglected by mainstream media in those days, for example: anorexia, suicide, endorphines or horror movies. Imitating I.-D.-Magazine we photographed normal guys and girls we met on the streets of Berlin or in places like MusicHall, Dschungel, Café Mitropa or Anderes Ufer. I chose ten of those photographs some of them previously not published. The photograph on top shows the Band Dreidimensional.
